Area of an ellipse with major and minor axis - Ellipse - Mensuration problem solver

Calculate the area of the ellipse where the major radius is 4 cm and minor radius is 3 cm.

major radius = 4
minor radius = 3
A =  PI * a * b
area = PI * 4 * 3
area = 37.7143
So the area is 37.7143

Ellipse Formulas :

A =  PI * a * b

V =  (4/3) * PI * a * b * c

P =  2 * PI * sqrt(( a * a + b * b ) / 2 )

where,

a = major radius
b = minor radius
A = area
V = volume
P = perimeter
